Time taken : 03:25:08
Distance : 16.06 km
Avg Speed : 12:46 min/km, 4.7 km/h.
This must be my longest clocked exercise so far.
Decide to explore the railway track today before it is all gone. The train has stopped rolling 2 weeks ago. The whole 26km track is opened to public till 17 July. After that only a 3km section will be opened till end of the month. After that i think the "gahmen" is going to remove the railway tracks.
Woke up at 0500 hrs. Left home at around 0600 hrs. Decide to park at Choa Chu Kang blk 762A MSCP as my plan is to start the walk at the Stagmont Ring road section down towards Tanjong Pagar railway station. Most probably will stopped at around 10+ km instead of all the way to the Tanjong Pagar railway station.
I was real difficult to jog with all the stones. So most of the times, it was really brisk walk. There was only a small section of trails for jogging. Mainly near the Bukit Timah railway station.
So basically it was walk, walk, stop and take photographs. The most people encountered was at the Bukit Timah railway station. Bump into tiwazz and a few of the sgrunners at the tail end of my trekking. After more than 3 hours of trekking, found a side road which lead to Bukit Merah Central. Decide to call it a day.
From before 766km marker to 780.50km marker.
Ate breakfast at one of the coffee shop and walk to redhill MRT to take the MRT to Choa Chu Kang. Switch to bus 307 to reach the carpark. By the time i drove home, it was almost 12 noon.
