OCBC Cycle 2012.

Second time doing this event. Company sponsor again, else I would not be paying $88 to cycle 39km.
Route is different from last year. Starting time is moved forward to 0630 hrs for 39km ride.

Set alarm clock to ring on 0400 hrs.
After the various preparation, water bottle, sunglass and a single power bar gel, left home at around 0435 hrs. Parked at Raffles City (parking charge $5+).
Fixed up the bike at the carpark and left the carpark at around 0510 hrs. Proceed to ride to the start point, the F1 pit building.

This time round, was quite early and there was not much rider when i reach there. After a short while the Super Challenge, 59km was flagged off at 0530 hrs.
Proceed to the starting pen and wait there for almost 45 minutes.

This time round, there was no need to dismount, just need to slow down at 1 section. Tough section going up Benjamin Sheares Bridge, saw a few riders push the bike up. At least I managed to ride up the Sheares Bridge before heading to ECP the highway. As usual, the feeling of riding the expressway was real shiok. Need to tackle the Sheares Bridge on the return leg before ending at the F1 pit building.

This time round, Garmin showed a distance of 37.2km. Check with Edgar on his polar, distance was about the same. So same as last year, they "eat" of 1km+.
Collected the finisher medal after the ride, met up with some Singtel colleagues to take group pictures.

Rode back to Raffles City carpark and left the carpark at around 1000 hrs.
