May Day. Did the marathon rehearsal. 4 weeks before sundown marathon.
Carrying the nathan fuel belt (3 bottles only) + 4 power bar gel + 1/2 boost chocolate bar.
This time round, Stanley decide to join me for the whole journey. So he travelled all the way to sengkang and meet me at the downstair coffee shop at 0400 hrs (woke up at 0310 hrs).
After some preparation, we started the run at 0420 hrs. Doing quite a consistent pace of around 8min plus to our first pit stop at the shell petrol station (10km +) at upper thomson road before Mandai road. Bought a bottle of 100 plus for $1.80.
Met up with Teo along Mandai road after the Zoo. As expected, Teo went ahead. We were supposed to meet up with Tom at 0730 hrs at Choa Chu Kang way before KJE. But we can only managed to reach there 10 minutes later.
Drank 1 can of 100 plus and refill my bottle with another can. Both cans courtesy of Tom. Finish my 1/2 bar of boost chocolate bar there also.
Proceed with the run after a 10 minutes break to head for the next pit stop which is the Esso petrol station at Keat Hong. Freshen up and also top up with 1 bottle of H2O. This time courtesy of Stanley.
I ask Tom to proceed first so that we can catch up with him. Tom met up with Yuen See along Bukit Batok Road and both of them proceed to run to Jurong point. I took my time to slowly catch up with the 2 of them.
Met Teo while he was stopping to massage his toe near Lakeside. Jog with him and finally caught up with Tom and Yuen See after Lakeside MRT.
Reach Jurong Point at around 0930 hrs after running for 5 hours. The 4 of us sat down to drink 100 plus while waiting for Stanley to arrived about 10 minutes later. Tom and Teo decide to went back first.
Stanley and me follow Yuen See to coffeeshop as Yuen See was giving us a breakfast treat.
After finishing our breakfast, we took Mrt to outram and NEL to sengkang follow by LRT. Reach home at around 1235 hrs.
